No nappy is perfect. From any reusable nappy brand to disposables, you are always going to have the possibilities of leaks, smells, messy-poo-nappies or a nappy rash and so on.

You are going to have to wash and dry them and get them ready for use.

Some people are going to love them and some are not and that is totally cool. A reusable nappy at least gives you an alternative to try other than disposables.

Nothing is really set in stone. You can use them only, alternate between disposables and work them totally how you want to. Some babies can sleep in them through the night and some can’t. You do what suits you.

You are going to go through stages. The nappies will work like a bomb and then they will start to smell a bit or leak a bit and then you know you need to strip. Sometimes it is not actually the nappy but your baby            teething or has eaten something acidic and you just need to strip the nappy with white vinegar to set it            afresh.

The more you use them the better they start to work. I can without a doubt say that my nappies are working better now than what they did in the beginning. It takes a couple of uses to get them going so in the            meantime don’t freak out or judge the nappy to not work. Give it some time (even though it might be so            frustrating, but even I have been there myself).

There is no pressure on my side. If you want to order 1,3, 12 or 100 it is entirely up to you. I can only say what works for me. I have 28 nappies between my 2 babies, which I only use bar the times they go to            babysitters and I send disposables with. But I do wash every day to every second day and I do live in Durban            so my nappies dry probably quicker than a place like Jhb or Sutherland!!!!
